The Jordan IV is arguably one of the most famous shoes in the most famous line of sneakers to date. The Air Jordan 4, designed by Tinker Hatfield, was first released in 1989, when Michael was in his prime. The J4 features a number of new design concepts, including side straps for enhanced ankle support, and an air-soled heel that debuted on the Jordan III. This very popular colorway features a powerful combination of black, cool grey and speckled white. This is sometimes called an Oreo, also known as "fear."
