The Air Max 1 "Amsterdam" pays homage to the so-called "Sin City" and is captivated by obvious and unobtrusive design details. Inspired by the golden age that shaped the city of Amsterdam like no other, these shoes are made with high-quality tactile materials such as suede, nubuck and heavy tumbled leather. Shades of brown and red are reminiscent of the many brick buildings and gravel roads in the city. These are also reflected in the various textures of the material. Nike's green highlights are modeled after the door and window frames of traditional canal houses.
