Designed to pay homage to this weekend's Lunar New Year, Nike's Air Max 1 "NYC Chinatown" is largely inspired by New York City's vibrant and bustling Chinatown. Screened every Chinese holiday, Chorima, a famous figure in Chinese mythology, drawn by a flying horse, will be displayed.The Heritage Air Max 1 has been completely revamped, replacing classic colorblocking with fresh details and vibrant hues. Cholima is on the heel, other Chinese characters are on the tongue, and a mix of orange, blue, and pink can be seen on the rubber outsole around the body. The striking red and black on the back is matched with the iconic running shoe upper, giving the shoe a majestic, rich and authentic Lunar New Year atmosphere.
